How to Create Interview Slots
Overview
Step 1: Set Your Timezone
Go to Interview Availability Slots.
Select your Timezone (e.g., Africa/Lagos).
Step 2: Set Your Weekly Availability
Each company member can define their interview availability for the entire week. By default, the system automatically sets working hours to 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and links your availability to your third-party calendar (e.g., Google Calendar or Outlook).
If you adjust your availability (for example, closing Wednesdays at 3:00 PM), your changes automatically override the default schedule and instantly sync with your linked calendar.
To set your availability:
Toggle the days you want active (e.g., Monday–Friday).
Set your Start Time and End Time for each active day.
Confirm your Timezone on the right panel.
Click Save.
Once saved, these time slots become your company member’s default interview availability, automatically reflected whenever an interview is sent to a candidate.
Step 3: Pipeline Integration (Advanced Options)
When setting up interviews within a Pipeline stage, you can define more specific details for each stage. This includes:
Video Call Platform – Choose Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or another platform.
Lead Interviewer – Assign who will conduct that stage.
Interview Type – Select Virtual or In-Person.
These advanced options are part of the Pipeline setup, not the slot creation, and help customize each interview round according to the hiring stage.
Step 4: Save and Sync
After setting up your slots and pipeline preferences:
The system automatically syncs your availability with your connected calendar to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Candidates can only select from your available time windows when booking.
Any manual change made by a team member immediately reflects in the shared company schedule.
